Tidy work is part of the job, not a favor at the end. Cloth goes down before a paint can is opened. A hallway patch gets its own small zone so dust does not travel into the next room.
Tools stay together. A brush does not live on the rail while we walk out to the truck. When the task is done, we wipe the area, fold the cloth, and look at the room from the doorway.
The standard is ordinary and strict: the house should be ready to use when we leave, and you should be able to see that without hunting for the mess.
